At recent years in our republic is realized serious reconstruction of higher professional educational system. In such conditions TEMPUS Programme is playing extremely remarkable role, because the main goal of the programme is the assistance in realization of social and economic reforms in partner-countries of EU, particularly in Central Asian region.

TEMPUS programme priorities, in any event, cover the most remarkable areas of higher education reformation process in Kyrgyzstan. It’s no wonder, that many initiatives, actually realized in pilot innovational projects, were created exactly in the frameworks of TEMPUS programme. In my opinion in the framework of programme supported and stimulated reforms, both at HEIs and national levels, as well as developed interregional initiatives.

I have to signify that in conditions of limited financial sources for higher education development TEMPUS programme is the serious tool, which let HEIs to support modernization of curriculum and create space for collaboration.

Since 1999 Bishkek Financial and Economic Academy is the active participant of TEMPUS programme. We can confidently say that actual sufficient successful BFEA position at the market of education services and image of innovational HEI has formed due to a number of effectively realized projects.
