Regional Seminar on National Qualification Framework, 10-11 November 2011
With the joint organization of the National Tempus Office in Kyrgyzstan and Soros Foundation in Kyrgyzstan on 10-11 November on the basis of Academy of Management under the President of Kyrgyz Republic a two-day seminar on "Development of a National Qualifications Framework in Kyrgyz Republic" was conducted.

The aims of seminar were introduction of European Qualifications Framework model, discussion on the future models in higher education with kyrgyz universities. For the conduction of the seminar two European experts - Andy Gibbs (UK) and Vera Stastna (Czech Republic) were invited...

Regional Seminar on National Qualification Framework, 10-11 November 2011

With the joint organization of the National Tempus Office and Soros Foundation in Kyrgyzstan is planning to conduct a two-day seminar "Development of a National Qualifications Framework", which aims to introduce a European Qualifications Framework model, discussion on the future models in higher education with kyrgyzuniversities. For the conduction of the seminar NTO in Kyrgyzstan welcomes two European experts - Andy Gibbs (UK) and Vera Stastna (Czech Republic), as well as the seminar will be facilitate with team of experts on higher education reform in the Republic (Here Team). Seminar will take place on the basis of Academy of Management under the President of the KR 10 - November 11, 2011.

Based on the foregoing, we are inviting the interested universities to participate in this seminar at the level of vice-rectors of academic affairs and active members of the International Departments of universities. Information Day of TEMPUS Programme in Kyrgyzstan

On 20 October 2011 Information Day of TEMPUS Programme in Kyrgyzstan has taken place on the basis of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev. The aim of the seminar was the presentation of Fifth Call for Proposals, to general features, novelties, submission procedure and selection, financial and technical issues of the Call. Also presentation of Tempus in Kyrgyzstan and Erasmus Mundus programme statistics were presented by the Coordinator of National Tempus Office in Kyrgyzstan, Gulnara Chokusheva. Contact Seminar between Higher Education Institutions of Sweden and Central Asia.

On October 11, 2011 contact seminar between higher education institutions of Sweden, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on the basis of Kyrgyz National University named after J.Balasagyn was held. The seminar was opened by welcome speech of Mr. Edil Moldoeva, Adviser of the Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyz Republic, the rector of KNU Isamidinov I.Ch, Mr. Ulf Melin, Director General, Swedish International Programme Office for Education and Training. In the seminar participants presented their country and higher education system in these countries. Examples of successful cooperation within the Tempus, Erasmus Mundus and the Swedish Cooperation Programme Lien Palma were also discussed...
