Selection results Tempus IV – Fifth call for proposalsNational Tempus Office in Kyrgyzstan is pleased to announce results of the 5th Call for proposals.
7 projects with involvement of Kyrgyz higher education institutions were selected for funding, out of them 6 are regional projects and 1 is a national project. For the first time in the history of Tempus programme in Kyrgyzstan, regional project on medicine was developed and submitted by International School of Medicine under International University of Kyrgyzstan as a grantholder.

Round table "Higher Education: Problems and Prospects" was held on June 6, 2012 with joint organization of the Ministry of Education and Science and National Tempus Office in Kyrgyzstan. 35 representatives of higher educational institutions, chairpersons and members of methodological unions participated in the event.
On the round table following important issues have been discussed:
-Development of state educational standards of the third generation: challenges and prospects;
-A strategy for implementing e-learning: practical recommendations.
The round table was opened by welcoming speech of Mr. Sadykov Kanat, Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyz Republic. He stressed the importance of the issues raised at the round table in the light of the Government Decrees № 472 and № 496.
