National Tempus Office in Kyrgyzstan
The National Tempus Office began its activity in February, 2008 and its activity aims to promote Tempus Programme in Kyrgyzstan and to provide assistance in integration of higher education of Kyrgyzstan with the European educational area.
Main objectives of the National Tempus Office in Kyrgyzstan include with the following:
• information support and advice to the higher education institutions of Kyrgyzstan regarding preparing project proposals to participate in Tempus Programme;
• assistance on partner search for development and realization of projects among European Union countries and in partner countries (27 countries)
• monitoring of Tempus projects;
• analysis, preparation and presentation of information about higher education system in Kyrgyzstan and its strategic priorities to the European Commission;
• support to partnership and networking among on-going Tempus projects and dissemination of project results;
• support in establishment of project consortium and etc.
• promotion of Erasmus Mundus Programme;
• cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Delegation of European Union in Kyrgyzstan.
• visibility support of Tempus Programme in Kyrgyzstan by publicationsand by supporting web-site
• support to the National Team of higher education reformation experts in Kyrgyzstan
• support in harmonization process of higher education system in Kyrgyzstan with European educational area through promotion of Bologna process agenda.
